In Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol, we were reminded that Christmas “is a time of all others, when want is keenly felt, and abundance rejoices”.  On Friday, December 16, we were able to give back to the community that means so much to us. A call for donations was made and our membership responded. Monetary donations were given to the Gathering Place in memory of our Co-Founder, John Snow, and to the MUN Food bank, in memory of our long-time treasurer, Noel Veitch.

On behalf of the board, I would like to wish you and your family and friends a safe and happy holiday season, however you celebrate it. We are looking forward to seeing you all in the new year!
